Silkscreen, color block, and pop graphic

Loud, flat, editorial — the portrait that handles itself like a cover, a poster, a print run.

Style referenceLighting mood

This is the *confident* register: serial image, high-chroma color blocks, camouflage, collaboration surfaces. It is a jump from a quiet, intimate set — and that is the point. Some clients want one of these in the set as the image that is not a secret; others want a whole look like this. Both are legible here.

Name where you are willing to be flat and where you need the face to keep dimension; your photographer can build the pipeline so a graphic step does not erase a nuance you need kept.

If you only want *one* graphic image in a softer gallery, plan it late in the set when you are warm and a little more willing to be bold.

Vocabulary: artist methods

Short descriptions of the treatments Vela can discuss with your photographer. Warhol method pages on the magazine open in a new reading tab; other families link here as the magazine hubs expand.

When you work with a Vela partner, these are the client-facing “looks” the pipeline is built to deliver. Your photographer can match one of these to what you want from this register. Prices and examples are for partner surfaces.
