Terms of Service

By accessing or using Vela (vela.study), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Vela is a figurative art platform that provides a curated image library, editorial content, a sequenced player experience, and artistic image transformation services for partner photographers and their clients.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use Vela.

Vela offers a monthly membership at the current listed price ($12/month as of April 2026). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Price changes.We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Image transformations are one-time purchases. Prices are displayed at checkout. All sales are final unless the transformation fails to render, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Purchased images are available for download for one year from the date of purchase. Session packs of 10 images are available at a discounted rate and may be applied to any mix of styles.

Your content. You retain ownership of any images you upload or purchase. By contributing an image to the Vela library through the model release process, you grant Vela a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, transform, and distribute that image within the platform.

Our content. The Vela library, editorial content, AI-generated transformations, and platform design are the property of Bicycle LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Vela content without permission.

You agree not to:

• Use Vela for any unlawful purpose or to distribute illegal content
• Attempt to access another user's account or private gallery without authorization
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the platform
• Redistribute purchased transformations commercially without permission
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or staff

Vela is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bicycle LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Purchased transformations remain downloadable until their expiry date.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
