Abstract

The aim of this paper is to identify and analyse some key references on psychological safety and organizational performance. This study is a systematic literature review by using the Thomson Reuters’ web of knowledge-based web of science citation index. Based on some phases of systematic review method, this study found 63 key references from grade four and three ABS ranking journals. This study also examines the citation behaviour based on the H index of the article and the journal impact factor. This study found that the Academy of Management Review is the most influential journal on psychological safety and organisational performance. However, most of the articles are published in psychology journal and only a few of them are published in management and marketing journals. Thus, there is an opportunity for further studies in marketing and management context.
