Line, drawing, and essential figure

When the image wants to *read* as drawing before it reads as photograph — edge first, then tone.

Style referencePose register

If you are drawn to life drawing, to ink on paper, to the empty ground of a print that refuses to over-describe, this is your vocabulary. Bodies in this register are *named* by a contour, not lit like a product shot.

Name whether you like the line to feel nervous, calm, or ornamental — the three can sit in the same session as different beats. A calm line can still hold a very charged pose; a nervous line does not have to read as unkind.

This register maps cleanly to the charcoal, silhouette, and some watercolor style outputs — see the actions below to align language with a partner delivery.
